Camera+ 2: The Manual Preset

Welcome to the second installment of guides for Camera+ 2. Below you’ll find a quick reference to what all of the buttons in the Manual Preset do. As always, if you think of any questions please contact support and let me know!

1Focus Wheel

This wheel lets you manually adjust the focal point of your photo.

2Auto Focus Button

This button toggles the manual focus controls on or off.

3Focus Peaking

This button toggles Focus Peaking on and off. Focus Peaking gives the viewfinder a green highlight for objects that are in focus. You can see the focus peaking indicators in the example image on this screen.

4Manual Focus Button

This button toggles the manual focus controls on or off.

Manual Exposure

1Shutter Speed Wheel

This wheel adjusts how long the shutter stays open. Longer shutter speeds let more light into the sensor.

2Full Manual Toggle

This button exits shutter priority mode and brings exposure controls to full manual. This displays a second wheel to the right of shutter speed. This wheel adjusts the ISO value of the photo. ISO controls how bright your photo looks.

3Auto Button

In this context the Auto button returns the exposure to Auto mode.

4Manual Exposure Button

This button toggles the manual exposure controls on or off.

5Live Exposure Values

Live Exposure gives you a convenient way to see your current shutter speed and ISO regardless of whether you’re in auto, touch, or manual exposure.

Manual White Balance

1White Balance Lock

This button locks the white balance at your current setting.

2White Balance Presets

These buttons set your white balance to an appropriate level for a variety of common circumstances. The first button (Auto) allows the system to calculate what it detects your white balance should be.

3Gray Card Calibration

This button lets you use a commercially available 18% gray card to calibrate the correct white balance for your current environment.

4Manual White Balance Button

Scroll to the end of the preset selections to select the full manual white balance option. This shows you a kelvin wheel to adjust to whatever value you’d like.

5Manual White Balance Controls

Tap this button to toggle the manual white balance controls on or off.
